Hobby Lobby in Holmdel on fire Sunday – Asbury Park Press

HOLMDEL — A Hobby Lobby on Rt. 35 caught fire on Sunday. According to a release from Holmdel police, solar panels on the roof of the store were on fire and later were extinguished. Nearby stores were evacuated police said.

An investigation is ongoing. Holmdel police said fire departments from Holmdel, Hazlet, Union Beach, Keansburg, Manalapan and Tinton Falls responded to the scene, as well as the Monmouth County Rescue Task Force and Holmdel First Aid.
