The Pietermaritzburg Arch centre, in the CBD, has embraced solar energy and embarked on a renewable energy project which should be in full swing next month.
Feeling the financial pinch taken by their tenants and themselves due to constant power outages in the area, the centre management decided to take control of the situation by engaging the services of renewable energy company, Renu Solar.
